WOW...it is a hot one here today at St. Augustine Beach! It is super important that all you beachgoers stock up on sunscreen, the combination of the sun and the heat can be dangerous if you aren't wearing sun protection and cooling off every so often in the ocean! We have plenty of different sunscreen in our shop, with varying degrees of SPF, as well as kid friendly lotion. And if you do any surfing, or even body surfing, you should come and pick up a rashguard which gives you UV protection as well as some protection from the sand. We have hundreds of different rashguards from all the best brands, Rusty, Rip Curl, Xcel, FCS, and of course, our very own Pit rashguards in some sweet colors. Also at the Pit today some of our sale items will be out on the deck, so if you're just rolling by you should check it out, 30% off on some, and $20 or under on the whole right side of the rack! What a deal! Also fresh in the store are the new FCS Performance Core fins, super high tech and unique to Florida for sure. You might just be the only one out on the water to have them already! Day 1 of the Challenge

Sweet Shades

One more day 'til May, and one more day 'til the weekend! It looks like we're going to have more of the same weather we've been having the past few days, so the beach is definitely going to be very busy. New in the shop are some Von Zipper and Spy sunglasses that come in some really unique styles and colors, mostly all of them are unisex. Also fresh in as of yesterday are some awesome new wheels, trucks, and decks from Ellement. Bam Margera's new deck has some pretty cool graphics, so hurry in today or this weekend and be the first to see them fresh out of their boxes!

It is indeed a very happy Tuesday here at the Pit! Just in, and brand spanking new are the K2.1 Performance Core Fins! FCS and Kelly Slater worked together to create the Performance Core Fins, which are a rarity here in Florida. The fins are truly amazing and definitely worth the money, as they provide the surfboard with a stiffer response while also creating a looser feel for your turns because of the smaller center fin. Get 'em while they're hot! Also new in the shop are some sweet Von Zipper shades, keeping the sun out of your eyes AND making you look oh so stylish at the same time. We are almost in the month of May, which means the first week of Summer Surf Camp is about to start!
